The opportunity:

We’re looking for a unique experienced individual possessing a set of strategic, tactical and communication skills to join our Sales Program Management organization in Waterloo. Reporting to the VP of Revenue Operations, Sales will be directly supporting our EVP WW Sales and help him design, coordinate and execute some of OpenText sales strategic initiatives.

You are great at:

You will work closely with the EVP WW Sales to support his strategic priorities for the OpenText sales organization.

You will turn his directions into detailed program plans, coordinate execution and report progress against the key milestones and KPIs.

You will liaise with the relevant sales business units to support the launch and the execution of those programs.

You will work cross functionally with various functions inside OpenText to execute on the various work streams required to support those programs.

You will ensure that at all time the EVP WW Sales has a clear and concise view of all those programs: status, progress on milestones, KPIs, roadblocks ...

You will also support the EVP WW Sales by coordinating and preparing material and execution for a broad range of activities:

• Sales QBR
• Executive Team Meetings
• Operational Reviews
• Annual and Strategic Planning
• Sales Communications (town-hall, e-mails)
• Corporate Events and Regional Visits

Whether for sales programs or sales activities you will be responsible for capturing, reviewing, summarizing and disseminating the key discussions that took place during the meetings as well as tracking to completion the action items that were decided

You will participate to the EVP WW Sales management system by serving as an extra set of eyes and ears to keep the Sales Leader aware of unanticipated problems to be addressed or opportunities to be considered.

What it takes:

You have an appetite to learn and be challenged, and you’ve been looking to work for a senior sales leader in a multi-billion global high-tech organization.

You have a minimum of 10 years experience in a sales, sales management, solution consulting, value engineering, sales operation or direct sales support capacity.

You are intimate with key sales mechanisms and problematics (sales initiatives, enterprise sales, sales methodology, capacity, coverage, enablement, performance management, ...)

You are multi-talented and agile, able to adapt and alter your plans depending on the circumstance while never losing sight of the endgame.

You have strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, influencing, team work).

You have a keen ability to zoom in and out of a problem to look at it on a strategic and a tactical level.

You can take various inputs and ideas and summarize them to their core tenets.

You are autonomous and a self-starter. You can take high-level directions and figure out an execution plan, how to seek the right resources and overcome barriers.

You are organized and comfortable with numbers and abstract thinking.
Prior experience with a senior sales executive is a plus.
