The opportunity:

As the Corporate Sales Representative you are responsible for generating sales and driving revenue growth for OpenText products and services. You apply motivation, listening skills and a strong work ethic to cross sell our products to existing customers as well as new customers on license sales. Additionally, you will participate in partner-based and telephone-based outbound campaigns.

You are great at:

• Qualify leads (MQL’s) generated by account development teams and marketing campaigns
• Participate in outbound campaigns
• Convert leads into sales opportunities and close new business against an assigned quota
• Answer inbound sales calls and make outbound calls to a variety of prospects
• Develop quotations and respond to RFX’s
• Ability to work with both Resellers and Implementation Partners
• Preparing comprehensive territory plans
• Coordinate with OpenText colleagues to ensure the delivery demonstrations
• Track leads and manage your pipeline and forecast in
• Develop and sustain a working knowledge of OpenText’s products and services
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets

What it takes:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 + years’ of technology sales experience
• Motivated, driven and a ‘hunter’ mentality
• A proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals
• Demonstrated ability to interface persuasively with C Level executives and other sales professionals
• Understanding of strategic, tactical and consultative selling processes
• Experience with various levels of account management
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven leadership and negotiating skills
• Excellent organizational skills
