The opportunity:

Our ability to quickly ramp up new account executives while enabling peak level performance for all of our sales teams are critical to our success. We are looking for an experienced leader to drive our onboarding and sales coaching programs. Reporting to the VP of Sales Performance and Strategic Programs in the Revenue Operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, executing and reporting on all of our sales onboarding and coaching initiatives. Working cross-functionally with our sales leaders, HR, marketing and other revenue operations team, you will equip our new hires with the right knowledge and skill set to be successful at OpenText, while helping the sales manager to improve the performance of their existing teams.

You are great at:

• Working closely with the sales leaders and the other functions of the enablement eco-system to support our sales onboarding and coaching initiatives
• Onboarding curriculum design, implementation, execution and measurement through a blend of virtual and in-person programs aimed at accelerating the time to ramp of our new sales hires
• Working closely with our marketing strategic enablement team and provide them the requirements and the feedback for the courses that are part of the onboarding curriculum
• Driving the operational enablement of our sales teams by providing them with the courses and supporting tools for them to effectively manage their opportunities (SFDC, deal process, A&A, …)
• Owning the deployment and adoption of our IMPACT sales methodology
• Leading a team of sales coaches and enablement professionals whose primary mission is to provide performance oriented programs and support to our sales teams and to execute and support all onboarding and performance programs

What it takes:

• You have a minimum of 10 years experience in leading sales enablement programs for software companies and are passionate about helping sales teams be successful
• You have already successfully executed several onboarding programs and have developed a robust point of view on the key success factors critical to accelerating ramp time for new hires
• You excel at building bridges and working cross-functionally with other teams to develop successful enablement programs that provide alignment and focus across all sales supporting functions
• You have developed a deep understanding of the sales process and the sales management function, and you have a recognized ability to build relationships and hold meaningful conversations with sales leaders
• You have strong strategic and program management skills, and are capable of articulating a vision and the path to realize it
• You are data driven and know how to leverage quantitative and qualitative information to produce informed analysis that help you and the leadership teams drive decisions
