The opportunity:

OpenText is looking for a software engineer to join its Automotive Exchange solution delivery team to help enhance and support its current supplier portal and identity management solutions with major automotive manufacturers.

You are great at:

Development of new features and enhancements for the Supplier Portal and Identity Management solutions.

Participation in architecture and design reviews.

Troubleshooting and defect resolution of issues identified by customers.

What it takes:


BS in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.

3 - 5 years of software development and support operations experience.

Deep understanding of web and application server technologies, including open-source technologies.

Extensive Java server-side design and development experience.

3+ years of experience in Liferay Portal and portal standards including JSR168, JSR286.

Experience developing web-based UI applications using JSPs, JavaScript, and AJAX.

Hands-on experiences in Web Services, XML and data persistence layer framework design and development.

Solid Linux skills including scripting expertise in languages such as Perl and UNIX shells.

Experience writing SQL queries.

Experience troubleshooting Java based applications.

Experience with PaaS and IaaS desired.
