The opportunity:

The Project Manager will be responsible for working with the members of the Corporate Development team to coordinate, document and assist in diligence of target acquisition opportunities across OpenText’s business units. The Project Manager will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining internal reporting and investment committee documents.

You are great at:

• Work with Deal Lead team to maintain and issue weekly deal pipeline updates to OpenText’s senior executive leadership, as well as regular Corporate Development executive and board reports
• Liaise and coordinate with deal primes in respect of deal status and updates for communication within and across OpenText as appropriate
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve tracking, recording and presentation of M&A pipeline and reporting procedures
• Coordinate and schedule calls and meetings with counter-parties and within OpenText
• Coordinate information requests within OpenText and assist in data room management
• Perform financial and market analysis, as required, at the direction of senior Corp Dev team members

What it takes:

• College or University undergraduate degree
• Organized and able to prioritize
• Verifiable experience managing multiple, competing deliverables and managing stress effectively
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient use of productivity tools, especially Microsoft Office suite. Ability to learn new productivity tools
• Ability to get along well with the team and manage all levels of seniority
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Highly motivated and responsible; willing to take on additional tasks and responsibilities
