The opportunity:

We are a seeking a team player with five or more years of experience in Investor Relations or investor engagement within the Capital Markets. The role can be based in San Mateo California, New York, or virtually anywhere in the US.

OpenText is a growing global software technology company with a market capitalization of approximately Cdn$12 billion. The individual will be an integral part of the team supporting the IR department’s initiatives and day-to-day activities.

You are great at:

• Supporting the department’s equity marketing and investor engagement strategy by conducting outbound calls and email outreach to target investors
• Assist with maintaining and tracking investor/analyst interactions in CRM system
• Coordinating meetings/calls with sell-side, buy-side and senior executives
• Prepare reports and briefing materials as needed to ensure the team is fully prepared for all meetings, commitments and travel
• Assisting with coordination and logistics for planning investor events, roadshows and conferences
• Assisting in the quarterly reporting process, including coordination of teleconference, webcast and website
• Working closely with transfer agent to resolve shareholder queries and issues
• Manage and route inbound inquiries from general Investor Relations mailbox
• Provide general support as required by the IR team including weekly management report preparation
• Managing all vendor invoices and Purchase Orders to ensure proper set up in SAP and that payments are made on a timely basis

What it takes:

• University degree or College diploma
• Minimum 5 years experience in relevant Investor Relations or capital markets
• Demonstrated understanding of the capital markets and financial disclosure regulations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, flexible and detail oriented
• Motivated team player who can work independently
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
