Job Description

Position reports to Gaithersburg, Maryland office but may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. Responsible for leading the technical and solution configuration expertise of projects for requirements, design, configuring, developing, implementing and supporting Documentum Life Sciences Solution Suite. Effectively plan, collect, track and maintain essential Good Clinical Practice compliant clinical trial documentation. Manage the creation, review and approval of regulatory submission content. Simplify the search and retrieval of archived submissions and associated correspondence, while improving security and compliance. Control quality and manufacturing documents, automate workflows and ensure Good Manufacturing Practice compliance. Lead technical consultants and Business Analysis, in the functional and technical discussions from a solution configuration and technical expertise perspective. Manage deliverables and activities to completion for fellow technical team members. Responsible for software installation, upgrade, configuration, development, testing, support, and overall technical delivery of the Life Sciences Solution Suite modules and underlying software solutions within a project’s timeline and in conjunction with other architects, consultants, and Business Analysis. Deliver configurations and custom development from small to large sized projects. Responsible for software installation, upgrade, configuration, testing, and support of solution deployments in internal environments to support customer workshops, self-enablement, and testing of current and new software releases of the Life Science Solution Suite modules and underlying software solutions. Participate with other team members in pre-sales to provide solution implementation estimates for Requests for Information, Requests for Proposals, and Statements of Work. Provide suggested enhancements to the Life Sciences Solution Product Management team based on customer feedback and industry trends and implementation experience. Assist in improving the growth of existing client relationships by being a trusted advisor and as a technical lead resource. 30% travel required to customer sites across the U.S.

What it takes:

Job Requirements

• Employer requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information System, Business Information Systems, or related field and two years of relevant experience. Will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information System, Business Information Systems, or related field, and 3 years of relevant experience.
• Two years of experience with any combination of the following industry standard Operating Systems and Web Services Tools: Windows XP/7/8/10/Server, Unix / Linux, Mac OS, and VMware vCenter.
• Two years of combined experience with at least two of the following industry standard and Solution Programming Languages, Applications and Tools: Java, J2EE, XML, SQL, JavaScript, DFS, D2FS, SQL Developer, Tortoise SVN, C++, SOAP web services, JBoss, WebSphere, JDBC, HTML, DQL, Oracle DB, Microsoft SQL Server, DFC, Eclipse, RoboMongo, Shell Scripting, Notepad/Notepad++, C#, RESTful web services, and Apache Tomcat.
• Two years of experience with at least two of the following Enterprise Content Management Products and Utilities: Documentum Administrator, Documentum Process Builder, Process Engine, Documentum Content Server, Documentum D2, Documentum Composer, Documentum xPlore, and Documentum Content Transformation Services.
• Two years of experience in the support, configuration, development or deployment of a Life Sciences Document Management solution.
