The opportunity:

This is an exciting entry level opportunity to work in a growing, fast-paced digital forensic team.

The Junior Forensic Analyst will support the EMEA eDiscovery team in digital forensics matters as well as being motivated to learn from the teams they work with to develop a holistic view of OpenText’s approach to the whole EDRM cycle.

You are great at:

* Methodical exhibit handling and property management
* Performing data collections in a forensically sound manner
* Proactively seek to learn from the entire eDiscovery team
* Provide support in the office and on forensic collections
* Spend time with different departments to develop a broad understanding of the business
* Perform data and network maintenance tasks as required
* Maintaining a stock of wiped and encrypted storage media

What it takes:

* Understanding of core forensic principles, including the ACPO guidelines
* Familiar with industry standard forensic software and hardware, especially EnCase and Tableau
* Understanding of mobile device forensic fundamentals
* A Bachelor level degree in a relevant subject OR work experience in a relevant field
* Organisation and meticulous attention to detail
* Good multi-tasker able to deliver on multiple requests under pressure
* The ability to prioritise incoming requests from different areas
* Technically astute with proven ability to use initiative and be creative
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Competent using the Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to have:
* Masters level degree in a relevant subject or other industry qualifications (e.g. EnCE)
* Proficiency with Microsoft, Apple and Linux operating systems
* Experience using Cellebrite hardware and software
* Knowledge of the English legal system, in particular the Computer Misuse Act and GDPR
* Working knowledge of ISO forensic laboratory standards
* Scripting ability in Python, SQL, PowerShell or Bash
* Flexibility to travel within the EMEA region, often at short notice
* Full UK driving license
