The opportunity:

OpenText has a number of products that are embedded and resold with other companies’ solutions via an OEM business model. This Product Marketing role will support and foster our OEM business. The successful candidate will interact with his/her counterparts in sales, product marketing, product management, engineering and other teams. This is a global role with responsibility to develop OEM go to market strategies and messages for multiple regions.

You are great at:

• Working with product management, engineering, OEM sales and marketing organizations to develop product positioning, value proposition, messaging, and enablement to ensure overall OEM sales readiness
• Tailoring messaging and marketing strategies to the unique requirements of target OEM prospects and customers
• Developing marketing materials for your product portfolio (i.e. slide decks, brochures, case studies, videos, etc.) by working with internal and external team members to create compelling content to support lead generation, nurture programs, sales enablement, web content and funnel optimization programs
• Taking the initiative to develop strategies and tactics for situations with less established internal processes
• Working with Field Marketing and Sales to execute on and track success of lead generation campaigns
• Acting as a spokesperson for various aspects of product-related messaging, both in print and in person at live events

What it takes:

• Experience in enterprise software, preferably with a focus on embedded software
• Helpful to have knowledge of the OEM business model in general
• At least 8 years of professional experience with at least 3 years in a Product Marketing, Partner Marketing or Product Management function
• Aptitude for technology and the ability to connect technical concepts with customer value
• Conversant in go-to-market methodologies
• Great interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to forge trusting relationships across a diverse team
• Skilled in leading presentations and discussions with business, technical, and sales stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong content marketer
• Proven ability to prioritize and differentiate what matters from the noise, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
