The opportunity:

The OpenText Online Support team is looking for a web developer with a passion for solving challenging problems, building new features and improving existing support applications. This position involves being part of a dynamic team environment responsible for designing, developing and supporting software solutions to meet business requirements in the OpenText Online Support area. You will also be involved in assisting other team members by providing guidance and solutions on complex tasks.

You are great at:

•Interacting with Business representatives to ensure their requirements are being met
•Translate business requirements into functional/technical requirements working within the framework of the tools available
•Develop web solutions to meet the business requirements while meeting time and cost constraints
•Participate in the full software development lifecycle (requirements, design, code, unit test, implementation)
•Develop quality web assets and solutions under tight deadlines with multiple priorities.
•To utilize excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot and fix code defects

What it takes:

•2 years of experience developing software within a web developing environment
•Solid foundation working with CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery and Bootstrap
•Experience working with SQL, Oracle or equivalent and writing complex queries
•Experience in designing, documenting, and developing WebAPI applications
•Knowledge with application development using design patterns
•Excellent ability to learn and troubleshoot new programming languages and technologies
•Strong desire to provide exceptional customer support to both internal and external customers
• Working experience in C#, Google Web Toolkit is desired
• Familiarity with Angular JS, Node.js, Sass and JavaScript frameworks is an asset
