The Opportunity: 
As a Software Developer – Desktop Engineering in the OpenText Core engineering team, you will work with a broad range of technologies to enhance the product and the platform.  OpenText Core is a product that provides business-ready file sharing and collaboration in the cloud.  With a focus on the Core desktop client (Windows and Mac), you will be solving problems around desktop file synchronization, offline access to content, and integration into other desktop applications to allow users to more seamlessly get their work done while being integrated with our cloud product.  As part of an Agile scrum team, you will work closely with team members to develop prototypes, solutions and product features. The work environment is fast paced and constantly evolving to achieve both our strategic goals and clients’ needs.

What it takes:

YYou have:
Developed desktop software applications for at least 3 years
Knowledge of Design Patterns
Proven ability to write clean code
Experience with various testing methodologies to ensure quality of your work
Bonus Points for experience with any of the following:
Object Oriented Design
SaaS Applications
Test Driven Development
