The opportunity:

Develops and leads the strategy and execution of programs focused on providing channel partners with content, training, certification, processes and tools which enable them to build and grow their OpenText practice. Oversees all programmatic requirements for tier one partner events such as Partner Summit, collaborates with various internal teams on initiatives focused on partner enablement, coordinates resources to effectively plan and execute enablement programs, and leads post-event evaluation efforts.

You are great at:

• Defining the channel enablement vision, strategy, and program offerings required to build the competency of channel partners and ensure alignment to the requirements of the Global Partner Program
• Gathering and assessing training requirements for channel partner sales, pre-sales and technical roles, as well as internal channel staff
• Building, delivering and managing a variety of training programs to support the enablement of channel partners and internal channel staff, leveraging a variety of delivery methodologies
• Leading the development and delivery of key partner enablement programs and events such as Partner Summit, Partner Days and Partner Workshops
• Building strong relationships with external training vendors to act as an extension of the team during times of high volume
• Coordinating Learning Management System administration support for the Partner Community of Learning Central
• Completing regular training and certification reports and analyze for trends, gaps and opportunities to evolve offerings
• Participating in go-to-market launch readiness project teams to ensure channel partner needs are addressed

What it takes:

• Bachelor’s degree in adult education, technology, project management or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience leading high performing teams
• 3+ years of channel experience
• Proven track record of successfully building and executing complex programs for various audiences
• Passionate about enabling the channel community and supporting staff for success
• Highly organized and results-oriented
• Creative problem solver with ability to think outside of the box
• Planning, prioritization and project management skills
• Ability to build and nurture strong relationships with executives, channel partners, and vendors is essential
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Supporting technologies:
o Online meeting/conference applications; Learning Management Systems; eLearning development platforms; Partner portals; Salesforce.com; Microsoft Office applications; Etc.
