The opportunity:

The OpenText Global Partner Program (GPP) Team are looking for a Partner Desk Manager to remotely manage and support GPP partners across the Discovery space for OpenText. The role will ensure governance and execution of the OpenText Global Partner Program globally across this set of partners. This primarily involves remotely managing and supporting active GPP Partners via a shared mailbox. The Partner Desk Manager will usher new partners through the formal on-boarding and contracting process, encourage training/certification and ongoing support. This role is the primary intermediary between Program partners and all OT field organizations including sales, services and related. It will play a supporting role in regards to partner sales opportunities; however, these will remain in the management of the Opportunity Owners in the field.

You are great at:

Being the primary point of contact for any partner queries from partners and internal teams
Following the global Partner Desk annual review and renewal processes to manage a partners’ lifecycle in the OpenText Global Partner Program
Supporting the Channel Development Manager with contracting net new partner contracts
Actively reviewing partners upon their agreement renewal, ensuring they have met program requirements and preparing the relevant approvals and documentations for partner renewal
Ensuring all reviews, approvals and processes are followed prior to terminating a partner from the program
Supporting Partner Contracts team in maintaining up to date SFDC partner and contact records
Working with Opportunity Owners to ensure SFDC opportunities are updated with relevant partner information
Promoting and coaching partners on GPP tools, resources and enablement offerings

What it takes:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience along with 5+ years in a customer services role or similar in the IT industry - preferably within a large vendor, such as Oracle, Microsoft, SAP

Strong program and project management skills
Good understanding of Open Text product and solutions offering
Must thrive on helping customers and partners succeed with a passion for customer service and excellence
Able to think and communicate conceptually, strategically and tactically
Ability to manage and prioritize a number of initiatives and deliverables concurrently
Global experience in a high-tech, constantly changing environments
Ability to work as part of a virtual, global team
Tools:, Partner tools (i.e. PartnerView, My Support, Learning Central), Microsoft Office applications, OLLIE, Web conferencing (i.e. GlobalMeet, WebEx, Skype, etc.)
