The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technology Architecture, the Technology Architect will be responsible for helping to design the technology roadmap for corporate systems.    This will include determining hardware and software infrastructure and recommending technology that improves current systems and performance.   The Technology Architect will be an expert on latest technologies, to effectively guide the technical direction of projects.

You are great at: 

  • Providing input to and implementing the technology strategy and roadmap for the organization’s corporate systems
  • Guiding technical direction of projects including leading architecture reviews
  • Proactively identifying and resolving complex technical issues
  • Assessing the potential impact of emerging technologies relative to strategic business needs and recommends their use in the company for current and future needs
  • Participating in evaluations of technology solutions
  • Providing leadership to ensure the successful integration of systems acquired through M&A activity

What it takes:

  • 10+ years of experience working within a global Information Technology environment focused on corporate systems.
  • Ability to take ownership, demonstrate sense of urgency and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills, including leading and coordinating multiple projects, influencing non-direct reports and peers, ensuring on-time delivery. 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and develop employees.
  • Microsoft Windows 2012R2/2016
  • Networking Services – DNS, DHCP, routing/switching concepts, load balancing, firewalls
  • Enterprise Architecture of Active Directory (AD)
  • Architecture of Mobile Computing and Microsoft Office 365 Architecture, Microsoft ADFS, Azure AD
  • Expert knowledge of virtualization platforms including VMWare and Application Virtualization using Citrix/Microsoft
  • Proficient in understanding cloud computing models (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS) and enterprise servers and storage
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Preferred certifications - Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE).  Microsoft Certified Architect (MCA), Cisco Certified  Design Associate (CCDA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
