The Opportunity:

Solution principals are the primary contact for new business opportunities within their sectors and will fulfil the role of Services Account Managers
The applicant will come from a business focused technology background dealing with both users and technicians and will have project management experience.
Commercial acumen and knowledge of the sales environment are also important.
The role is sales focused with team sales targets and may involve significant travel.
 
You are great at:

• Developing trusted relationships with our partner SAP and our Product Sales force to ensure Consulting involvement in sales opportunities
• Driving the business development activities within our SAP business together with SAP
• Identifying and qualifying consulting opportunities (working with existing customers, prospective customers and internal Product Account Managers)
• Defining sales strategy and approach on prospect accounts
• Developing and presenting of proposals for professional services
• Working on key qualified opportunities
• RFP/RFI responses and SOW’s
• Developing opportunity pipeline, sector sales plans and account sales plans
• Managing the production of project scoping and estimating within opportunities
• Engaging and managing any consulting pre-sales activities with opportunities
• Closing business 

What it takes:


 • The Solution Principal can take responsibility for overseeing the delivery of smaller tactical engagements
• Engage delivery consultants as appropriate on engagements working with the resource manager
• The Solution Principal is responsible for working with the Regional Delivery Manager to ensure that tactical projects (they are responsible for) follow the CMS Methodology and regional best practice (status reports, coding standards etc.)
• Commercial responsibility for the project
• Responsible for ensuring that the deals are constructed in a commercially adequate manner, profitability target are controlled, risks are identified and suitable measures put in place to manage etc
• Defining sales strategy and approach on prospect accounts
• Developing and presenting of proposals for professional services
• Working on key qualified opportunities
• RFP/RFI responses and SOW’s
• Developing opportunity pipeline, sector sales plans and account sales plans
• Fluent German and English
