OpenText Japan is currently recruiting a Account Executive for its Enterprise Sales division. The Enterprise sales team is a growing organization that has responsible for License revenue, 1st Year maintenance revenue, Subscription MCV and services revenue.
Account Executive - the role is responsible for recruiting and driving revenue from existing and net new customer by using appropriate sales route that direct sales or partner business.
This role is based in Tokyo, with expected medium travel throughout Japan.
You are great at:
Proven sales skills, good technical knowledge and a business acumen including strong executive level communication skills. Successful candidates should also have a keen awareness of software industry (key players, strategies, software trends). Must be able to effectively
Overachieve individual sales quotas
Do proactive proposal based sales
Develop and get net new customers in the own territory
Negotiate royalty based agreements and VAR contracts
Thrive in a high-paced, results-driven organization
Liaise with OpenText group executives
Work with Solution Consultant, Professional Service, Customer Support and other supporting teams
Communicate in written and spoken Japanese and English
What it takes:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in business,
Min 8 years successful foreign software or IT company sales background
Experience in a multi-national, multi-lingual work environment is preferred
History in EIM software sales would be an asset
Understanding of OpenText products and SAP ERP products are preferred
