The Opportunity:

The Sales Director will be responsible for all as aspects of their business including strategy, planning and execution in order to meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and quotas, maintaining existing customers and building new revenue streams through the expansion and growth of the business relationships within current and new clients as well as expense control. The Sales Director is responsible for overall team quota performance and may hold an individual quota. They will be expected to spend the majority of their time working with their direct reports to coach and develop them to ensure success. They and their teams are expected to work well with all functions of the company in order to achieve their objectives. The Sales Director will report to the Regional Vice President Sales

You are great at:
  • Growing customer satisfaction across the assigned region by providing exemplary service and support 

  • Directing a team of professionals to meet or exceed quarterly and annual license, maintenance and implementation services sales objectives 

  • Developping, implementing and measuring regional sales strategies and plans

  • Consistently and accurately forecasting results to senior management 

  • Managing and growing opportunity pipeline

  • Assisting in sales efforts, legal contracting, and in resolving customer issues 

  • Training, developping and motivating employees in sales skills, product knowledge, teamwork, time and territory management, competitive knowledge, and career goals pursuits 

  • Providing ongoing feedback/coaching, implement correction actions when necessary and regularly schedule performance reviews. 
     

What it takes:

  • Fluent business English languages skill (written and spoken)

  • 8+ years of successful software sales experience with a proven track record of successfully achieving goals

  • 3+ years of proven sales management experience with a proven track record of successfully achieving goals

  • Proven ability and demonstrated experience on sales execution to success 
  • Knowledge of the Enterprise Information Management market space, competitors and related industries 

  • Experience working with C-Level executives

  • Experience in solution selling on medium to large company level

  • Proven history of analyzing situations, employing creative and effective decision making to solve problems/achieve results 

  • Proven network and experience operating within the target group

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Good verbal and written English skills, additional language skills are beneficial

  • Excellent presentation skills
