Open Text, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Architect for Gaithersburg, MD.
Qualified candidate will analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design and architecture within time and cost constraints.
Direct the architecture, design and development to build scalable, maintainable and extensible enterprise solutions.
Develop and lead the implementation team through architectural, conceptual, high-level and low-level designs.
Work with program management and project management teams to define Statement of Work (SOW) and effort estimates.
Use knowledge of and experience with Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies to perform duties.
Use knowledge of and experience with Web Services standards, including SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, WS-Security and WS-I to perform duties.
Develop software solutions using knowledge of and experience with Business Process Management (BPM), Business Process transformation, Workflow management and Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) technologies to perform duties.
Develop software solutions using knowledge of and experience with Cordys product suite, including BPM, Case Management, SOA Grid, Enterprise Application Integration, Data Transformation, Master Data Management, XForms, Web Services development, Business Activity Monitoring and reporting functionalities.
Use knowledge of and experience with the following technologies to perform duties: Java; Java Script; HTML5; XML; AJAX technologies; Single Sign-on; Web services security; RDBMS and SQL; Linux and Windows; and Mobile application development.
Use knowledge of and experience with the following technologies: .Net; Mainframes; SAP; Java Messaging Service (JMS); J2EE; and Integration with 3rd party applications to perform duties.
Use knowledge of and experience with Software Configuration Management and integration tools, including Sub Version and Jenkins to perform duties.
Use knowledge of and experience with Agile development methodologies to perform duties.
Frequent travel to client sites required as assigned by employer (50% travel to various unanticipated worksites throughout US).
May telecommute; occasional travel to HQ office (Gaithersburg, MD) required.
What it takes:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Science Engineering, or related fields and 2 years’ experience, or willing to accept a MS in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Science Engineering, or related field and 1 years’ experience in job offered.
