The Opportunity:

 The Financial Manager for Brazil will report to the Financial Controller LATAM and will be based in the São Paulo Office. The FMB will be responsible for Brazil´s accounting and financial cycle, month end process and reporting, and also for providing support to the Global Finance team. The FMB will be a key member of the LATAM finance team, managing traditional accounting, tax and controllership responsibilities, in addition to being a significant contributor to the US GAAP close.
 
 

You are great at:

•Performing analytical reviews of month end financial results.

•Responding to monthly questions from management on the balance sheet and P&L review.

•Preparing the monthly and quarterly analytical review document.

•Reviewing account reconciliations and promoting best practices with Accounting Services to ensure proper accounting and controls are in place.

•Improving local month end closing process and deadlines

•Attending to company´s deadline

•Suggesting and implementing improvement processes



 

What it takes:


The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration or equivalent. Specialization and MBA is considered a plus 5+ year of experience in a Controllership management role, preferably in a technology companyExpertise in SAP and Excel.  Oracle and Great Plain ERPs is a plus.Functional Proficiency/knowledge: Minimum functional qualifications the incumbent must possess in order to qualify for the role, not including acceptable equivalents.Good Knowledge of local statutory accounting and tax requirements People Manager skillsStrong problem resolution, collaboration and organizational skillsMandatory fluency in English, Spanish is a plus
