The opportunity:

Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Technology, the Director, IT Corporate Service Delivery will be responsible for the cost-effective delivery of the OpenText Global Service Desk and IT Facilities Project Office. This role focuses on strategic and tactical leadership in the delivery and continuous service improvement for OpenText internal customers.

You are great at:

• Innovative and cost-effective delivery of Global Service Desk services
• Leading project management of IT Facilities and IT Corporate Technology initiatives
• Managing department operational and strategic planning, including business requirements, project planning, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources
• Providing leadership to ensure the successful integration of acquired companies
• Benchmarking, analyzing, reporting on, and making recommendations for the improvement of IT Corporate Service Delivery
• Overseeing the sourcing, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support of all end user hardware and software
• Participating in the evaluations of technology solutions
• Practically applying ITIL to meet business needs

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
• Strong project management and prioritization skills, including leading and coordinating multiple projects, influencing non-direct reports and peers, and ensuring on-time delivery
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to identify and propose new IT business processes and systems
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and develop staff
• Good understanding and technical knowledge of current network and PC operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards. Including Windows 10, Office 365, AirWatch, Mobile/iPhone, OpenText products, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to IT
• 10+ years of experience working within a global Information Technology environment focused on Corporate Technology
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• ITIL, PMP and ISACA CGEIT certifications are an asset
