Focused on providing day to day HR support across a full range of employee and manager issues, the HR Consultant will work alongside the HR Business Partner team to deliver excellent partnership to the business.
The HR Consultant acts as an internal consultant and HR resource for managers and employees and responds proactively. This includes the identification and resolution of critical issues and the implementation of HR policies and practices that align to OpenText global HR strategic objectives. The HR Consultant will support the flawless execution of HR management processes and tools.
The Consultant will work effectively with the Centres of Excellence (COE) to deliver an excellent service across the employee lifecycle.
•Reporting to a HR Business Partners to support business deliverables
•Provides guidance and assistance to managers and employees on a full range of employee issues, in line with legislation and company policy
•Advises and partners with managers on employee relations issues
•Contributes to policy and process development
•Supports the execution of key HR programs and initiatives in alignment with global HR and business requirements
•Acts as an employee advocate
•Proven experience as an HR Advisor/HR Consultant with HR generalist experience covering the full employee lifecycle within a fast-moving international, matrix organisation
•Strong business acumen, able to use judgement and business knowledge to effectively advise managers
•Strong stakeholder management and credibility, able to act as a trusted advisor to the business
•Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to change
•Ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload effectively
