The Opportunity:


The opportunity to work with Open Text for a fixed-term of 10 months. While for the role itself, the IT Technical Solutions Enabler’s role is to enable new customers purchased service. Includes setting up complex trading relationship in different platforms (e.g. VAN connections, SMG, FTP, Direct Connects, AS2, MS) with their global partners.  Answers incoming calls and emails promptly and in accordance with established call/email -handling procedures to gather customer and TP information and provide in-depth support for end users through effective troubleshooting and problem-solving.


You are great at:


  • Deliver day to day implementation requests from customers and its Trading Partners
  • Provides support to basic connectivity setups and Trading Partner/Client concerns.
  • After office hours, weekend and holiday availability when required.
  • Data track and Troubleshoot connectivity issues (e.g. VAN connections, SMG, FTP, Direct Connects, AS2, MS)

What it takes:


  • Open to work on a fixed-term employment basis
  • Educational Requirement:  Computer Science or Information Technology degree and equivalent
  • 2-3 years’ experience as technical support representative/analyst
  • EDI/B2B experience is a plus but not required
  • Experience with IP communication protocols like FTP, FTP/s, SSH (SCP, SFTP), HTTPS.
  • Strong written and spoken English language
  • Strong troubleshooting and investigative skills
  • Ability to simply and clearly articulate technical instructions
  • Good time management skill and Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Confident in collaborating with English speaking foreign client personnel to gather requirements, report status of project activities and resolve issues
  • Ability to execute, monitor and control project activities with minimal supervision.
  • Behavior Characteristics: Strong attention to detail and process,  collaborative and adaptable
  • Strong English communication skills  and ability to interact with customers in a demanding and every changing environment
  • Experience with implementation of Enterprise level application configurations via Change Management protocols.
