The Opportunity:

Global Mobility provides expertise in evaluation, planning, risk mitigation advice and execution of:  
  • Permanent relocations
  • Temporary assignments
  • Business traveler assistance: visa and documentation
  • Tax and Immigration requirements
  • We look at the full picture of the intended global mobility action and flag any concerns in relation to timelines, immigration and tax assistance, corporate and payroll tax risk, benefits items to be aware of, etc. 
  • Engage with 3rd party vendors to assist with GM services. 
  • Connect with employee to explain package and assistance offered. 
  • Employee contact for immigration. 

Global Mobility Specialist Duties

  • Responsible for the research, analysis, design, delivery and effective administration of employee mobility and immigration programs and initiatives, both domestic and international.  
  • Development, continued improvement and maintenance of all programs, policies and procedures relating to domestic and global relocation
  • Develop initiation, tracking and management tools for relocations from end to end 
  • Manage external vendors for Immigration, Tax and Relocation
  • With vendor assistance provide relocation counseling for all domestic and global moves
  • Develop reports and analysis to monitor the trends, cost, status of an assignment and vendor services.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in counseling Business Leaders and HR Business Partners on relocation resources and policies available and provide comprehensive multi-year cost estimates for potential and actual assignments, to aid in business case development.
  • Develop partnerships with immigration service providers to ensure timely, seamless and simplified methods are utilized
  • Develop immigration protocols for business visitors and work visas/permits to ensure compliance with global immigration laws
  • Monitor and identify potential work visa issues for cross boarder travelers
  • Manage and track all work permit & visa applications including full vendor management for assignees, permanently relocating employees and business travelers for the Americas
