The Data Manager – United Kingdom will be a self-starter with technical knowledge, solid troubleshooting skills, detail orientation, and experience in using Open Text’s Axcelerate application.  The Data Manager must be comfortable working both individually and as a member of a team in a fast paced environment, where the ability to communicate effectively across teams, multitask and troubleshoot is essential.



U.K. Specific Job Responsibilities:


•Serve as the first point of contact for any United Kingdom data management and data intake needs and work exclusively on all “U.K. Only” tickets.


•Consult with clients and Project Managers in regards to managing large and or complex data deliveries.


•Ensure that priority data is addressed quickly and avoid any delays in managing the intake of data using Open Text procedures and protocols.


•Act as a the key resource to the U.K. Project Management staff in regards to tasks that may require special workflows or need more technical instructions than standard tickets.


•Coordinate with team members in the United States to ensure that work continues seamlessly on tickets that are in the job queue. 


•Capable of running scripts for staging of data and have the technical skills and knowledge to effectively investigate and resolve issues that arise in handling forensic files.   


•Perform in-depth QC of all work performed, adhering to our checklist formats and service levels for quality.


•Manage changing requirements and workload.  Flexibility to work at different times as needed.


•Conduct training and development on an as-needed basis and serve as a resource to junior staff members.

 


Basic Job Responsibilities:
 


•Utilize Open Text’s software to process incoming electronically stored information (ESI) and structured data into Open Text’s review platform


•Knowledge in regards to handling and managing forensic data and following proper Chain of Custody protocols.


•Maintain confidentiality of all information related to client documents and Open Text’s procedures and practices.


•Consistently update job tickets with status updates and state changes associated with active tasks.

 



Software Used:


Open Text’s Axcelerate application and other internally developed applications and scripts. Microsoft Office Suite products; text editing software (such as TextPad and NotePad++ ); MS Access, litigation support software such as LAW and Concordance, and Forensic software such as Encase and FTK Imager.


The successful candidate must have strong experience in all of the above.


Required qualifications:


•Experience and detailed knowledge in regards to Open Text’s Axcelerate platform.


•Excellent ability to follow detailed processes, workflows, and prescribed procedures with an attention to detail.


•Excellent problem solving ability, verbal and written communication skills.


•Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks.


•Maintain confidentiality of all information related to client documents and Open Text’s procedures and practices.


•Excellent ability to follow complex and detailed processes, workflows, and prescribed procedures with an attention to detail.


•Understanding of structured data (and related images and text files) and being able to load that data into a litigation support data application.  


•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (including Microsoft Access and Microsoft VBA) and advanced text editing skills (such as TextPad and NotePad++ ).


•The ideal candidate has significant litigation support analyst/specialist experience in a vendor, law firm or corporate legal department with an emphasis on litigation support technology and the handling of forensic files.
