The opportunity: 

Working as part of Open Text’s dynamic Professional Services Go to Market team, the PS GTM Program Manager will be key member of the global PS Go to Market team with a focus on the enablement of the Professional Services teams and supporting other GTM activities such as packaging, repeatable solutions and knowledge sharing.  Major duties will include but are not limited to management and execution of established programs; expanding established programs to new and diverse user groups; event management; reducing the time between hire, learning and application of new knowledge; creation and management of PS enablement and GTM communications, project management and reporting.  The incumbent will be extremely organized, able to work in a highly energetic, dynamic environment, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to complete a range of work from logistical coordination to program design and implementation.

You are great at: 
  • Partner with appropriate business leaders and customer stakeholders to identify training needs and design, develop and implement a variety of high-quality programs to meet the field’s needs.
  • Work with an international team with a global scope
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders such as Regional and Practice PS teams, Product Management, Product Development, Product Marketing, Learning Services, Field Enablement Program Managers and other supporting groups to design and deliver Solution Enablement programs for the Open Text portfolio of products and solutions.
  • Based on need and application take existing program content and manage the modification for distinctly different user groups and diverse audiences within those user groups.
  • Manage virtual learning programs, such as the Navigator, webinars and regional or global team meetings.  Facilitate live sessions engaging the audience in a variety of ways incorporating social learning practices.
  • Establish metrics, analyze and utilize data to ensure program quality and effectiveness, communicating program outcomes and recommendations for improvement to Senior Sponsors.
  • Develop strong communications with PS teams in the region and ensure their feedback and priorities are incorporated in global planning and programs.
  • Act as the local champion for PS global programs, communicating to local teams, ensuring there is a broad understanding of the programs and encouraging support for them. 
  • Manage and coordinate local creation of enablement programs, GTM programs and material
  • Leveraging existing onboarding practices already in place create a new hire onboarding program for designated audiences within the region and act as a resource to new hires in orienting them to Open Text corporate and Professional Services content.

What it takes: 

  • 5 or more years experience working within team focused roles that involve communication, education and/or mentorship, ideally in a technology environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, create and implement one or more programs for a broad group of employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and provide ongoing reporting on business success metrics
  • 2 or more years leadership or management experience
  • Post secondary school education in PS,  Marketing, Project Management, Communications or equivalent or higher education 
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Power Point, some knowledge of basic HTML, layout, design and print production, and video and multimedia fundamentals would be beneficial
  • Demonstrated understanding of common project management and learning practices is an asset.
  • Flexibility to move between projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong detail and customer orientation
  • Proven understanding of communication planning processes and the ability to work with various communication mediums including print, web and multimedia
  • Ability to engage and manage subject matter experts on content modifications.
  • Ability to run project post-mortems and make improvements based on key findings.
  • Demonstrated, excellent writing skills and project management skills with track record of attention to detail
  • A multi-lingual background would be an asset.
