The Content Marketing Manager (CMM) is responsible for supporting the Global Campaigns by creating or curating the content to engage customers and prospects and facilitate a buying journey. He/She will write marketing content (including tweets, ads, emails, landing pages, etc.) and develop assets (such as articles, blogs, calculators, infographics, videos, white papers, etc.) in support of the global campaigns. He/she will support OpenText lead generation content across a variety of channels, generating excitement and demand for OpenText. The incumbent will sit at the heart of the process and use their creative and analytical marketing skills to shape key campaign messages for different target personas and effectively weave them into scripted buying journeys across a variety of distribution channels. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the buying journey and how to target content to various stages of the journey. He/she will be immensely creative with a background in writing/marketing communications. They will be able to use content and media strategically to engage different audiences and achieve amazing results.
You are great at:
• Writing and aligning key messaging and benefits aimed at different personas
• Researching, writing, and editing content for new assets and promotional materials
• Working with the cross-functional marketing team to build and execute content plans
• Maintaining repository of content for global campaigns via the content management system or Campaign Factory
• Creating relevant communications for a variety of different platforms
• Leveraging technology to create compelling content
• Maintaining detailed knowledge of target personas for OpenText products
• Managing translation/localization of campaign content
• Assisting in the management of key third party tactics such as content syndication
What it takes:
• 5 years working within a fast-paced marketing communication environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in writing or marketing preferred
• Boundless creativity
• Solid understanding of business-to-business (B2B) marketing and how to utilize various marketing content and tools based on the intended audience
• Experience in the IT industry is preferred
• Ability to develop high volumes of quality content quickly
• Proven experience with Social Media tools such as Twitter and LinkedIn
• Proficiency with blogging/word processing software, an understanding of content management systems, marketing automation (Eloqua, Marketo) and CRM software(Salesforce) is ideal
• Perform work in an accurate, consistent and timely manner to meet company and demand marketing team deadlines
• Must be very organized, detail-oriented, and deadline disciplined
• A comfort with change and the ability to thrive under pressure and working with stakeholders globally
