The opportunity:

OpenText is looking for strong candidates to be part of a diverse team responsible for delivery of configuration solutions for SAP HCM and Changepoint. This individual will report to the Senior Manager and be able to effectively interact with the end-user community to gather requirements for enhancements or identification of problems in the production environment.
This candidate will be an integral part of information systems development and integration for Open Text IT Enterprise Business Systems organization.

You are great at:

• Directly managing a team of development professionals
• Coordinating and prioritizing change requests with the HR and CP Steering Committee
• Timely delivery of systems solutions, configuration and business process results within a project or enhancement request
• Designing, planning and coordinating work teams
• Providing technical support and direction to team members
• Designing and implementing the components required for complex application features
• Identifying areas for improvement within the team and provide team members with resources to improve their skills/knowledge

What it takes:

• The ability to support all phases of a project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions, and post-production support/maintenance functions as well as documentation, and end-user training
• Knowledge of SAP HR modules (i.e. PA, OM, TM, PY)
• Knowledge of Changepoint
• Knowledge of OpenAir and SuccessFactors would be an asset
• Ability to ensure compliance to all development standards, naming conventions and change control process
• Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and equivalent experience
• Minimum of four years of experience as a team leader with dtrong leadership qualifications and experience
• Experience in Changepoint upgrades
• Experience developing and tracking project plans
• Self-motivated individual with ability to work in a multi-tasking, changing environment
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills are required
