The purpose of the Cloud Services Bid Manager is to promote and enable sales of OpenText’s family of Enterprise Managed Cloud Services solutions. The Bid Mangers and his/her team engage with the field sales organization to build awareness and understanding of our cloud offerings and to develop opportunity spotting capabilities. Once a Cloud opportunity is identified, the bid team works closely with the responsible Account Executive and Solutions Consultant in a supportive role as the Cloud solution SME to achieve a successful outcome of the quote to close process. The Bid Manager also manages internal reporting such as pipeline tracking and participates in the product qualification process for on-boarding new offerings to the OT Cloud.

Prioritizing and assigning tasks to bid specialists
Presenting OT Cloud solutions and capabilities to internal and external audiences
Participating in virtual and in-person conferences and seminars
Training OT sales executives and solutions consultants on OT Cloud solutions
Assisting AEs to qualify Cloud opportunities and assess the fit for OT Cloud offerings
Participating in sales presentations to prospective cloud customers
Participating in bid/no-bid decision reviews
Preparing responses to RFI/RFPs
Working with SCs and application experts to size hosted deployments
Reviewing Solutions Requirements Questionnaires for enterprise cloud opportunities
Developing pricing for OT Cloud solutions
Assisting in the negotiation and contracting process for Cloud opportunities
Preparing win/loss reports, review bids for quality and accuracy
Participating in the on-boarding process for new hosted offerings
Tracking and reporting on pipeline activity
