The opportunity:

The Team Lead Solution Architect is a senior level professional, part of the Business Value Consulting Team inside the Presales community, capable of managing multiple engagements in complex environments collaborating with many different stakeholders, at the same time that coordinate and lead the technical initiatives of the Solution Architects group.

You are great at:

? Supporting Corporate efforts to enable the sales teams and providing feedback about new developments in the field, new trends and best practices can impact our business

? Supporting the sales teams along the sales cycle from the discovery and qualification phase to the closing, ensuring internal alignment and becoming a trusted advisor

? Working with Solution Architects to provide a consensus based enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever changing business needs.

? Helping customers to align IT strategy and planning with their business goals, driving Cloud, Security, Architecture workshops and delivering economical assessments as needed to justify investment

Managing Risk of information and IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies.


Participating in conferences and events to speak about OpenText Cloud Offerings

Supporting the development of policies, standards and guidelines that governs the selection, development, implementation and use of IT within the enterprise.

Ensure the team members have appropriate training and development plans in place to overachieve in their roles

Coaching of the team to ensure they prepare, deliver and follow up with their customer work to a high standard

Ensure the needs of the team are raised and made visible to more senior SC Management

Acts as point of contact for one or more sales teams for resourcing requests and escalations

What it takes:

Years of experience in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects

Years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications

Years of experience in converting on premise workloads to the cloud

Understanding of cloud computing technologies (SaaS, PaaS, MPC, etc.), business drivers, and emerging computing trends

Understanding of information security (including compliance standards and IT governance)

Business Case Development Experience (e.g. ROI, TCO, Risk)

Project and program management planning and organizational skills

Demonstrable experience leading and managing technical/solution consultants
