The opportunity:

As a Senior Architect or Architect in the Life Sciences Professional Services team you will Lead Technical Consultants, Business Consultants and Project Managers in the delivery of OpenText Life Sciences engagements from a Technical perspective. You will be responsible for delivering quality configurations and code that meets the customer’s needs in accordance with documented business, user and functional requirements.

You are great at:

Leading a team of technical architects and consultants

Leading quality outputs for solution implementation planning, design, configuration, development, testing and overall technical delivery within a projects timeline and in conjunction with the Project Manager

Technical troubleshooting, with strong analytical skills

Configuring and developing on various platforms and solutions

Delivering configurations and customizations for medium to large sized projects

Managing deliverables and activities to completion for fellow technical team members

Provide Technical input for RFI’s/RFP’s

Understanding of life sciences industry regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11, GxP’s, ICH

Understanding of validation principals such as GAMP 5, FDA, WHO

Understanding of Regulatory Mandates from the various regulatory authorities (FDA, EMA, JMHLW, etc.)

Providing suggested enhancements to the Life Sciences Product Management team based on customer feedback and industry trends and implementation experience

Helping with the growth of existing client relationships by being a trusted advisor as a technical lead resource

What it takes:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in more than one of the following Programming Languages, Applications and Tools:

Java
JDBC
J2EE
HTML
XML
DQL
SQL
Oracle DB
JavaScript
RoboMongo
SQL Developer
Shell Scripting
Tortoise SVN
Notepad/Notepad++
C++
C#
SOAP web services
RESTful web services
Oracle Weblogic
Apache Tomcat
WebSphere
Microsoft SQL Server

Minimum of 8 years of experience in more than one of the following Operating Systems and Web Services Tools:

Windows XP/7/8/10/Server
Unix / Linux
Mac OS
VMware vCenter

Minimum of 5 years of experience in more than one of the following Enterprise Content Management Products & Utilities:

Documentum Content Server
Documentum D2
Document for Life Sciences Suite (R&D, SSV, Q&M and/or eTMF)
DFC/DFS/REST Services

Having your Certifications in any of the following is a plus:

Documentum D7
Documentum D7 Administrator
Documentum D7 Server Programming
Documentum D7 Web Application Programming

Deep understanding of server centric architecture

Strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management Solutions and associated business processes for the Life Sciences is a plus

Able to travel up to 50% in North America
