The opportunity:

The Infrastructure Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing infrastructure environments to ensure adherence to the developed standards and ensure that documentation is developed and maintained as well as published for the use and reference of all vested parties and internal consumers.

You are great at:

• Diagnosing, Reviewing and Analyzing infrastructure environments
• Communicating Issues and discrepancies
• Identifying opportunities for Improvement
• Developing and update documentation as well as a centralized repository for reference
• Ability to improvise or provide alternate options for infrastructure
• Working independently on research and development solutions to fill gaps
• Developing available tools to meet needs

What it takes:

• 3 to 5 years of infrastructure experience with systems and storage knowledge
• General knowledge of Cisco USC infrastructure hardware and associated concepts
• Experience working with complex systems and designs
• Knowledge of database structures, queries and development
• Experience with development languages and automation scripting using Shell and/or PowerShell
• Basic understanding of Unix (Solaris, HPUX, Linux)
• DC, DHCP, DNS, Proxies, SNMP knowledge
• Network hardware understanding, routing, switching, latency, delay, MTU and encapsulation
• Understanding of and resolving common virtual machine and host server bottlenecks with VMware technologies
• Experience with Web development would be an asset
• Bachelor of Science degree in Technology related field, preferred ares would be computer engineering, computer science and similar technology fields.
