PPU Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the OpenText DaaS (Documentum as a service) Customers are in primary support. This includes periodical planning of upgrade of DaaS customers to latest Documentum Product Suite, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. Project Manager will work closely with PPU Program Manager, Cloud Product Manager, Service Delivery Managers, and Technical team to deliver upgrade projects. You are great at:
? Accountable for ensuring Documentum as a Service customers are upgraded to latest Documentum product suite within stipulated timeframes and successfully using the service with high customer satisfaction
? Create WBS and Project Plan for every upgrade project. Work with PPU Program Manager, Cloud Product Manager, SDMs to define the schedule and milestones for every 7.3 upgrade projects.
? Work with PPU Program Manager on a staffing plan for each upgrade project Needs to take into consideration DCTM product suite extended support timeframes while defining schedules and milestones.
? Schedule upgrade activities & work with all global stakeholders to track progress/earned value on a daily basis (Plan vs actual)
? Proactively setup meetings with SDMs, Technical consultants, Operations teams to review ongoing activities and progress.
? Track risks & issues and come up with mitigation strategies for each one of the upgrade projects
? Escalate issues, as needed, to keep projects on target (within established schedules & milestones) and proactively work with all the stakeholders to resolve issues to meet the project milestone dates
? Facilitate communications between different teams where needed for special circumstances, customer problems to meet the milestone dates.
? Liaise with PPU Program Manager and Cloud Product Management to align with planned support waiver schedules
What it takes:
? Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent
? At least 8 years’ experience in all phases of Software Development Lifecycle.
? At least 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager.
? Proven project management skills with demonstrated experience in a consulting environment
? Conversant in cloud technology, Enterprise content Management and data center deployment.
? Experience with formal project management techniques (i.e. Formal status reporting and client communication, budget/scope management and change controls, and project team direction and technical leadership). PMP/Prince2 certification preferred.
? Able to work independently with positive problem-solving attitude
? Require strong analytical skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical work day by analyzing data and making decisions that affect the project on a regular basis.
? Solid work ethic with a willingness to work overtime.
