Strong understanding of hosting architectures including database, network, and SAN technologies and concepts
Ability to scope and specify technical solutions
Experience working with highly complex systems administration, and enterprise architectures
Experience working with highly complex system implementations and organizational processes
ITIL concepts strongly preferred
Excellent time management
Understanding of and resolving common virtual machine and host server bottlenecks
Bachelor of Science degree or the equivalent and 8+ years of experience, of which 5 years must be relevant to virtualization
Practical experience in deployment, management, and troubleshooting of VMware vCloud Director or similar cloud computing products preferred.
Practical understanding of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
Advanced level working knowledge of virtualization and cloud computing concepts and technologies
Advanced level working knowledge of vSphere 5/6 platform suite including but not limited to design, configuration, daily administration, capacity planning, and solving related problems
Practical experience with automation and monitoring tools such as PowerCLI, vCenter Orchestrator, vROPs and Powershell.
