The Opportunity: 

  • Lead implementation teams in delivering on high-quality DevOps tools and assist in defining the customer self-service, monitoring, & reporting strategy and roadmap for Cloud Delivery as well as products.
  • Provide strategic inputs and manage all stages of lifecycle for Cloud deployments including Platform components; prominent stages are: requirement analysis, design, development, testing and deployment 
  • Adeptly manage executive sponsors, assist in managing resources, balancing costs, risks and benefits to achieve optimal short-term and long-term business outcomes 
  • Demonstrate strategic leadership and tactical delivery on projects while collaborating with sales, segments, and customers
  • Develop business cases for new features, research and create service requirements with prioritization and corresponding justification
  • Ensure new service features are financially viable and understand the financial impact of service changes
  • Effectively monitor product lifecycles; identify and control risk or bottlenecks to ensure product viability
  • Track product performances, conduct market research, and recommended changes to the service or the overall service objective.
  • Ensure communication of program, service and project progress to stakeholders; through necessary meetings and status reports
  • Competitive analysis on services to bring to market
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and work with project/delivery managers as well as other team members; influence them to take actions in-line with the Cloud Practice’s strategic goals
  • Play a proactive role in program planning for Enterprise Cloud Managed Services and be the single point of contact for the Cloud Practice and Cloud Delivery, to other product teams as well as customer delivery teams 
  • Work closely with Cloud Delivery and Support teams to ensure that their requirements are met to allow for High Uptime (Availability) and excellent customer experience.
  • Efficiently manage strategic and development projects, which includes tracking deliverables, creating timelines, and assigning owners

You are great at:

  • Excellent business analysis skills including facilitating requirements, design and testing sessions and leading the documentation of required SDLC documents
  • Ability to effectively plan and manage projects in MS Project including how to manage dependencies, assign resources, costs, etc. Must be capable of running baseline and earned value reporting
  • Knowledge of management best practices, templates and processes striving for continuous improvement and standardization in program management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good presentation abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordinglyExperience working and driving global teams which may be spread over many time zones
  • Excellent time-management skills with ability to balance multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines
  • Demonstrated basic understanding of fundamental software engineering (SDLC) principles
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
  • Positive, team building attitude - proven ability to build credibility and trust
  • Excellent problem-solving, conflict-resolution and analytical skills
  • Have high Emotional Quotient (EQ) and act as change agent with strong Contract negotiation abilities
  • Ability to identify and address technical and other project-related risk areas
  • Small Company mentality (ability to wear multiple hats)

What it takes:

  • Computer Sciences or related degree, or significant industry experience
  • Minimum 8 years’ industry experience with 3-6 years of product and/or program management experience with Cloud offerings or enterprise software products
  • Working knowledge and experience in all phases of the product development lifecycle 
  • Experience with various software development methodologies including but not limited to Agile/SCRUM, Water-fall and Continuous Integration 
  • MS Windows, MS Office, Atlassian products like JIRA and VMWare related tool experience
  • Proven ability to communicate with customers and understand markets
  • Change management experience and experience with product strategy plans
 Preferred
  • Previous management experience in software, SaaS, online business models/domains 
  • Excellent understanding of business as it relates to the hosting and cloud computing industries
  • 5+ years’ experience developing or managing cloud computing, virtualization technology or SaaS 
  • Knowledge and experience of using analytic tools for mining business & program insights
  • Working knowledge of ECM or EIM products especially those from Opentext
